I will never forget you and the experience e shared.
In a time of uncertainty which we were not prepared
Unable to see loved ones and missing company
We became a new team, just you and me.
Talking to you and always telling you about my day,
What I did you shared it seemed to help me that way
Helping loved ones pass messages and send you their love,
Strength and their prayers from here and above.
We fought it together, one day at a time.
Cheering you on to help you cross the finish line.
Celebrating the good days and acknowledging the positivity
Whilst remaining honest with you and your family.
As the days slipped away you fell into your sleep,
The memories of what you helped me be I will always keep,
A kinder, better person who wanted to support you through,
The last few moment of life, so precious and true.
The quiet descended and calm was felt around,
For a single second there couldn’t be heard a single found
Then the pure emotion of what you meant to family,
I include myself in that group, for that is what you became to me.

What does it take to be a nurse?
A license on a wall?
Perhaps technically yes,
But if you think that is all
You would surely be mistake
Because without any doubt
There is so much more than that to what nursing is about
Yes, the knowledge they’ve acquired
Is a key to what they do
And they never stop learning
Or keeping up with what is new
But it’s in all the other aspects
Of their professional routine
That the true meaning of nurse
Can most readily be seen
Showing genuine compassion
Listening to a patients fear
Finding time though it seems there none
To wipe away a childs tears
When facing tragedy and grief
The strength and skill it takes to make
Firm and sound decisions
While your hearts about to break
Nurses are tireless, patient
Respectful and devoted
And even though their efforts
May not constantly be noted
They didn’t choose this life path
For glory or acclaim
And the good they do each day
Is far more meaningful than fame.
Thank you all – from all of here at CareJoy.
It is with great regret, CareJoy Healthcare announces the departure of one of our founders, Kindred Garces.
Darren Stubbs, CareJoy’s Managing Director comments: ‘Together with Joy and Grego Kindred has been the driving force in building CareJoy into the agency it is today.
‘Since joining the team, I have been hugely impressed by the way Kindred has built up the business, her focus on quality and the support she has provided to Clients and Candidates.
‘We all wish her the best of luck in her new ventures.
The last 12 months have seen CareJoy Healthcare, the Specialists’ Agency go from strength to strength.
As an NHS LPP / CPP approved agency, we continue to offer great cost-effective service for our clients in London, the South, the North East and North West to name but a few.
We also work with some of the UK’s most prestigious private care providers such as Nuffield Healthcare, Ramsey Healthcare and Spire Healthcare.
We are working with more and more clients and now we have outgrown our original offices!
Just before lock-down, Darren, Kindred, Tayler and the rest of the CareJoy team moved into Mermaid House, right on the river Thames.
We are only a stones’ throw from Blackfriars station and a 6-minute walk from St Pauls or Mansion House stations.
We’d love to see you, so if you’re ever in the area once it’s safe to travel again, do pop in for a cup of tea!
To our valued workers,
With the current uncertainly surrounding the rapid spread of the COVID-19, we would like to take the time to reassure our workers and customers that CareJoy Healthcare are doing all we can in order to prevent any unnecessary risks while you are working with us.
You will have all received an information leaflet from our Occupational Health provider, including your confidential declaration. We will continue to provide you with follow up information as and when provided.
CareJoy Healthcare are monitoring updates very closely from the Government, our Occupational Health team, the World Health Organisations along with our Recruitment memberships and ACAS and working to the advice recommended. Where required, we are implementing processes to adapt to the challenges that coronavirus is presenting as the situation evolves.
We do not operate within any areas currently classified as “high-risk”. However, we have dedicated time and attention to complete a health and safety review and risk assessments of our operations to ensure business continuity.
Should it be necessary, we have a strategy in place to ensure our internal staff will have the ability to work remotely if required, and it will be business as usual with our operations adapting as and when the situation changes.
If you have been in contact with or have been infected yourself, please notify us so we can in turn advise the client with which you have worked.
